Bookkeeper

  • Accurately document all income, expenses, and other financial activities using accounting software.

  • Ensure the general ledger's accuracy by reconciling accounts and correcting discrepancies.

  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Track invoices, process payments, and manage overdue accounts.

  • Compare bank statements with internal records to identify and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Handle payroll operations, including calculating wages, withholding taxes, and issuing payments.

  • Help track budgets, identify variances, and recommend necessary adjustments.

  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations and assist during internal or external audits.

  • Monitor company expenses and suggest cost-saving measures.

  • Collaborate with accountants to prepare and file accurate tax returns on time.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree Accounting, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Can work without supervision.

  • Proficiency in MYOB and Excel.
