FrameCAD Detailer

About the Role

We are seeking a FrameCAD Detailer to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for detailing cold-formed steel structures using FrameCAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize FrameCAD Detailer and Structure software to create comprehensive 3D models of wall panels, roof trusses, and floor joists.
  • Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings from 3D models for manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on all drawings to minimize errors and ensure structural integrity.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturing team to resolve any technical issues during production.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest FrameCAD software features and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in detailing cold-formed steel structures.
  • Strong understanding of cold-formed steel design principles and construction practices.
  • Experience with FrameCAD software.
  • Deep understanding of cold-formed steel design principles and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
